Growth initiatives towards social development is the need of the hour especially in the developing countries like India.The Non-Government Organisations (NGO’s), with their work at the grass roots play an important role in the social welfare of the community. Social welfare is now a matter of right rather than that of need. The NGO’s play an significant part in bridging the gap between the various Government socio-economic schemes and its implementation on the ground. SSA also plays its role by reaching the last mile of the community. Through its perceptive research the organisation ensures that the poorest of the poor (of the selected area) get to experience sustainable growth by generating awareness of the available essential services and access to education and employment opportunities.
